Video: Copenhagen Philharmonic Surprises Subway Riders with Grieg
Monday, May 07, 2012 - 05:36 PM
The zany musicians of the Copenhagen Philharmonic are at it again. Having previously staged a flash-mob rendition of Ravel's Bolero in Copenhagen's Central Station, the musicians took the next step last month and boarded a moving, crowded metro train to perform Grieg's Peer Gynt. The flash mob was created in collaboration with Denmark's Radio Klassisk.
Would such a performance make your commute more enjoyable?

The Truth of Music (Love) revealed by commuters with help from those musicians! Humanity IS changing, on both sides of the "stage"!
More enjoyable commute??? I stay on the train for an encore and call in sick!!!
Awesome!! Now for the NY Phil to play on the A train.....
Ironically, this orchestral performance was lacking a conductor but managed to stay on track no doubt to good training.
