For its second night, the 2012 Look & Listen Festival at the Pratt Manhattan Gallery featured a star-studded line-up of diverse, unexpected collaborations and music from Taiwanese composer Ashley Fu-Tsun Wang, winner of the festival's annual composition competition.

Hosted by WQXR's Terrance McKnight, the evening covered a wide spectrum of styles and composer-performers with original compositions by Icelandic guitarist Hilmar Jensson and vocalist Theo Bleckmann, Kibbey/Hadfield/Mills Trio, Bang on a Can guitarist Mark Stewart, and fiddlers Brittany Haas and Dan Trueman. 

In a nod to the opening evening's festivities, this show also included a flute realization of Derek Bermel’s Orbit Design - heard the previous evening in an arrangement for percussion sextet - performed by Eric Lamb, Kelli Kathman and Alex Sopp.
