Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed over 600 pieces in a vast range of styles and genres. It's so much music anyone is challenged to pick out just five favorites. Yet French conductor Louis Langrée has done just that. The music director of the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center since 2003, Langrée has put together a list that is idiosyncratic and personal, featuring both popular favorites and lesser-known gems.
Louis Langrée's Top Five:
1. Idomeneo, K. 366
2. Requiem Mass in D minor, K. 626
3. Adagio in B minor, K. 540
4. Piano Concerto No. 22 in E flat major, K. 482
5. Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola and Orchestra, K. 364 (Andante)

OMG! I'm in love with Louis Langree.......his favorites are EXACTLY my favorites! I've always loved his conducting, and now I know why.....
