A student of legendary Polish composer Kryzsztof Penderecki as well as the Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Christopher Rouse, Jakub Ciupinski has had his music premiered by a wide array of A-list new-music performers, including violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, The New Juilliard Ensemble, and Metropolis Ensemble. He's also a regular performer of electroacoustic "gesture-based" music and a co-founder of the contemporary composer collective Blind Ear Music.
