Margaret Kelley joined WQXR as an Assistant Producer in December 2011.
She produces Reflections from the Keyboard, WQXR at The Proms, American Pops, The Choral Mix, All Ears, Around Broadway, Opera in Brief, and other features for broadcast. Prior to her arrival at WQXR, she worked at National Public Radio in Washington, D.C. producing fundraising and promotional spots, funding credits and special projects including a broadcast from the Newport Jazz Festival. She also worked as an editorial assistant for Creators at Carnegie and as an assistant producer on NPR’s Performance Today, SymphonyCast and World of Opera. A veteran of college radio from her days at the Catholic University of America in Washington, Margaret is also a trained cellist, alto, and floral designer. She was born and raised in New York.
