I recently discovered Naomi Lewin's wonderful program, Classics for Kids, on WQXR on Saturday mornings at 8:00 am. As an avid concert attendee who always reads all the program notes and a dedicated WQXR listerner for over 40 years, I consider myself reasonably knowledgeable about classical music. Yet every week I learn some little tidbit that's new to me! Instead of calling her program "Classics for Kids" she should call it "Classics for Kids and Adults Who are Kids at Heart" or "Classics Not Just for Kids". I also suggest that she air her program once a week during the dinner hour so that those who like to sleep in on Saturday mornings can enjoy it as well. Thanks Naomi and keep up the great work!
