Well, it's about time you played something by Bruckner during the day, but it seems that on the rare occasions he is heard in the daytime hours, you only play the Intermezzo. You certainly would have time to play one of his symphonies - there are several that are less than one hour long. You managed to play Beethoven's 9th Symphony, which is just over an hour, this afternoon and it was good to hear something over twenty minutes long for a change. WQXR needs to realize that their listeners' attention spans are well-developed enough to appreciate hearing longer works more often.
