I was lucky enough today to catch Gould's playing of Byrd's "Sellinger's Round." Gould playing dance music! - even if it is Elizabethan dance.
A week or so ago I played "A Voluntary" for a violinist for the Knights (Yon Joo Lee?) along with other rarely heard Gould recordings (mvmts from Beethoven's symphonies 5 & 6) - and of course, the 1955 Goldberg vars.
