NO! David Daniels definitely did NOT start the modern countertenor thing! Daniels may be the latest rage, but please check your music history. Even before the New York Pro Musica's superb Russell Oberlin, you must go back farther and credit Alfred Deller. Back in the '60s I was introduced to Deller recordings. That's the 1960s -- a half century ago.
