My anecdotal awareness survey shows that any guitar piece is more likely to be played in a Sharon Isbin version than any other guitarist. Why is that, I must wonder, as there are so many others around just as good.

Ugh, why must you excerpt a major piece like the Goldberg Variations? Why not play the whole thing? Isn't that the benefit of being a public radio station that you don't have to do commercials and take lots of breaks? I would have LOVED to hear the full Goldbergs this morning as I got ready for work. Instead you interrupt them and move on to a piece by some forgotten 18th-century Italian composer that has nothing to do with the Goldbergs. Please don't insult your listenership like this - you can do better!
