Annie Bergen : About
Annie Bergen is a part-time host at WQXR.
Annie Bergen's reports on film, music, theater, books and art have won several awards, including an "Outstanding Feature Story" award from the NYSBA. She has interviewed more than 300 arts personalities and is now featured on various WQXR programs.
Annie served as WQXR's morning host from 2004-2009. Prior to joining WQXR in January 2004, Bergen was Chief Arts and Entertainment Reporter for Bloomberg Radio, WBBR. From 1994 to 2000, she was also a Business News Anchor on Bloomberg Television, and produced and hosted feature segments on culture. Previously, Annie was the evening host on classical station, WNCN, and hosted music programs at WLTW "Lite FM," and at jazz station, WBGO, in Newark.
Born in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Annie was raised in Europe, Washington, D.C. and Jersey City, New Jersey. She is a graduate of Boston College.
