Romance Writers Conference Comes to New York City
Friday, July 01, 2011
Romance fiction isn't just about bodice rippers. The genre covers everything from vampire love stories to suspense. But one thing is for sure: a cover with bare naked abs guarantees a steamy read.

The Romance Writers of America is holding its conference here in New York. The romance writers are attending events that deal with research about sex throughout history, understanding men, and even 19th century undergarments. In this week's Arts File, Liz White talks with WNYC Arts Critic Carolina Miranda. She has attended the conference, along with some 2,000 romance authors, agents and editors.
