The symphony has been fertile ground for composers throughout history and around the world. This week, host Bill McGlaughlin will follow its development in France in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Why is it sometimes so difficult to simply find out what's playing NOW on QXR? I refer to the symphony on between 10-11 p.m. Jan. 31. I tried Playlists, Schedule, Programs. I keep getting shunted over to a file called Exploring Music The Symphony Part VI and it isnt there. Where else can it be?
