Vietnamese pianist Dang Thai Son performs a program of French music, topped off by a generous helping of Chopin ballades in this Concert from the Frick Collection. Called a "pianist of superb discipline and undeniable distinction" by the Boston Globe, Dang first burst onto the international scene as the winner of the 10th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.

Tonight, we continue our annual series of Concerts from the Frick Collection with the San Francisco-based Baroque chamber ensemble Music of Spheres in their New York debut. The program includes works by Muffat, Biber, Gabrielli, Handel, Corelli, Schmelzer, Pandolfi and J. S. Bach.
