This week's From the Top comes to you from Fraser Performance Studio at WGBH in Boston, where you'll meet a young violinist who shared her music with her severely autistic brother and watched him use a song to be able to express his emotions for the very first time. You'll also hear an outstanding soprano sing "The Lordly Hudson" by Ned Rorem and hear a trio of teens play the vivacious final movement of the Brahms Second Piano Trio.

This week, From the Top comes to you from Carnegie Music Hall in Pittsburgh, Penn., where you’ll hear a talented 17-year-old euphonium player perform the music of Simone Mantia and a 16-year-old violinist play the Bartok Second Rhapsody.

This week, From the Top comes to you from Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver where the teenager performers play with the Colorado Symphony. You'll hear a 17-year-old organist join the orchestra to perform the final movement of the Saint-Saens Symphony No. 3 and meet a teenage violinist who plays Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen while sharing the stage with her parents, who are orchestra members. Also, the Colorado Children’s Chorale sings the music of Randall Thompson.
