Peter Broderick Spins Arvo Pärt, Brian Eno and More
Mixtapes Streams Wednesdays at 3 pm and Thursdays at 7 pm
Wednesday, April 25, 2012
For Mixtapes, we ask today's leading musicians, authors, filmmakers and artists to curate an hour of new-music that they find particularly compelling or that exemplifies the shifting boundaries of today's musical climate. Today's mixtape comes courtesy of Berlin-based composer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Broderick.
"Here is an hour of music that is somehow classical or composed in my mind. With some of my heroes like Arthur Russell, John Cage, Arvo Pärt, Brian Eno… And some friends of mine who make wonderful music, Félicia Atkinson, Sylvain Chauveau, Nils Frahm… All of these tracks have been an inspiration for me at one time or another." -Peter Broderick
