What is reality? What does it mean to be authentically human? These are questions raised in the work of science fiction author Philip K. Dick. "Blade Runner," "Minority Report" and "Total Recall" are a few of the many films based on Dick's imaginative, provocative stories. Filmmakers continue to try to capture Dick's unique blend of surrealism, naturalism, dark humor, empathy, and visionary strangeness, and music for these films touches on those qualities.
A version of this show aired in March 2011, but host David Garland has updated the program with music from the brand new "Total Recall."
