Keira Knightley stars in 'Anna Karenina'
(Focus Features)
Some particularly good movies are in theaters right now, and some of them have particularly good music. Mychael Danna's score for "Life of Pi" is full of lustrous color; Danny Elfman's scores for "Hitchcock" and "Silver Linings Playbook" display his playful side; and Dario Marianelli has fashioned appropriately elegant music for "Anna Karenina."
David Garland presents these and other new, recent, and forthcoming scores.
