The Varied Talents of Richard Rodney Bennett
Saturday, January 05, 2013
Richard Rodney Bennett, who died on December 24, was a composer known for the diversity of his work, which included everything from cabaret songs to symphonies. Throughout his varied career Bennett composed film scores, and even in that field he proved his versatility.
From espionage thrillers such as "Billion Dollar Brain," dramas like "Equus," Agatha Christie who-done-its like "Murder on the Orient Express," and the English folk song-inspired score for he composed for "Far from the Madding Crowd," Bennett used his wide-ranging musical skills to great effect. David Garland presents music from these and other film scores by Richard Rodney Bennett.

David, I have been away the last few weeks and was hoping to catch up on the missed episodes of Movies on the Radio programs I missed while away. I see last Saturday's program is archived, but not the previous Richard Rodney Bennett program. Will that become available?
Thanks!
