Hot Town
Weekdays from 12-4, a.m. and p.m., on Q2

Aside from hellish subway station climates, trash season, and solid walls of humidity, New York is pretty genius in the summer.
There are so many opportunities to check out art, film and music, many for free and most for cheap. At Q2, we are gearing up for a season chock full of spectacular New Music events. Personally, I'm most pumped about Make Music NY's Xenakis-on-a-boat scheme (!), the Bang On A Can Marathon and Issue Project Room's Darmstadt Institute, not to mention the Lincoln Center Festival and Celebrate Brooklyn.
This week on the show, we'll preview music, composers and performers who'll be featured in this summer's exciting festivals. Break out the pitcher drinks and pull up a lawn chair, 'cause here comes Summer!
What (events? trips? cocktails?) are you looking forward to this summer?
