Tonight Alan Gilbert conducts a premiere by Thomas Adès and conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 9. Will the infamous marimba ring tone be audible? Edited out? You’ll have to wait to the very end to find out!

Duh! This program was given several times, so it is assumed an unsullied performance (at least of that movement) will be broadcast. Not rocket science!
