The New York Philharmonic, under the direction of Alan Gilbert performs "A Dancer’s Dream: Two Works by Stravinsky," a multidisciplinary, reimagining of Stravinsky’s ballets The Fairy’s Kiss and Petrushka. New York City Ballet principal dancer Sara Mearns stars in the production created by Giants Are Small, the creative team behind "Le Grand Macabre" and "The Cunning Little Vixen."

Vail summer festival in Colorado, Bramwell Tovey conducts Copland’s Four Dance Episodes from Rodeo, as well as his own piece, The Lincoln Tunnel Cabaret, with principal trombone Joseph Alessi as soloist, and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8.

Vail summer festival in Colorado, Alan Gilbert conducts the orchestra in Dvořák’s Cello Concerto, with principal cello Carter Brey as soloist, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5. This broadcast also includes Brey’s performance of J.S. Bach’s Unaccompanied Cello Suites Nos. 1 and 2, recorded at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on March 27, 2013, as part of The Bach Variations: A Philharmonic Festival.
