The February broadcasts of The New York Philharmonic This Week begin with former Music Director Lorin Maazel returning to the orchestra to conduct Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 1  with soloist Yefim Bronfman. The performance continues the New York Philharmonic’s survey this season of Brahms’s complete symphonies and concertos. The program concludes with Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2.
