On September 22 at 7 pm, Q2 Music presented a live audio webcast of the Danish art-rock trio Efterklang and the Wordless Music Orchestra's sold-out show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Hosted by Nadia Sirota, the webcast features the American premiere of music from the band's recently released album "Piramida" and a pre-concert chat with one of the arrangers, composer Missy Mazzoli.
Following the critically acclaimed world premiere this past May at the Sydney Opera House, this performance features arrangements by composers Missy Mazzoli, Karsten Fundal and Daníel Bjarnason. Joining the trio on-stage are multi-instrumentalist Peter Broderick, drummer Budgie and vocalist Katinka Fogh Vindelev, while conductor Matthew Coorey leads the Wordless Music Orchestra.
