From Sept. 8-29, 2013, Q2 Music offers new music coverage from Switzerland's 2013 Lucerne Festival. Founded in 1938, the annual classical music festival brings together premiere soloists and ensembles from all over the globe. This summer, the Lucerne Festival celebrates its 75th anniversary with the theme of "Revolution," highlighting composers from Beethoven to Stravinsky to Xenakis who have displayed a revolutionary bent. Q2 Music's coverage of the festival features a diverse array of 20th and 21st Century selections from modern music titans Luciano Berio and Bela Bartok to world premieres by Christian Mason and Dieter Ammann.
