In Tchaikovsky's well-known lyric opera, Tatiana, an impulsive young woman, hastily writes a love letter to the brooding, selfish Onegin, who lives to regret his rejection of her. This was the Los Angeles Opera's first-ever production of the Russian opera, an import from London’s Royal Opera House. It stars Dalibor Jenis as Eugene Onegin and Oksana Dyka as Tatiana.
