With an all-day Polish new music marathon on Q2 Music, our 24-hour new-music channel, WQXR has great Polish composers on its mind. And many of you lamented the absence of Polish masters on this year's Classical Countdown. So today, we're asking: which of these Romantic Polish concertos would you like to hear: Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2, Wieniawski's Violin Concerto No. 2 or Paderewski's Piano Concerto in A Major.
Update: You told us you'd like to hear the Chopin Concerto, which we played at 12 noon. Thanks to all who voted!

Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 2
Wieniawski: Violin Concerto No. 2
Paderewski: Piano Concerto in A Major

When you think of Polish composers, of course Chopin immediately comes to mind and I have no doubt as to the outcome. How about some Szymanowski for a change?
Therefore I am officially not casting my vote.
It's like the New Year Classical countdown. The is no doubt as to what will will be number 1 every year.
You have to play Chopin !!!!! The Chop rules !!!!!!
thank you for the choices ! All very good !
Marty . Midge you are very cool , would love to meet you one day !
Chopin, of course, is the greatest of the three, but it would be refreshing to listen to the worthy Wieniawski, which is less often heard.
Certainly all three candidates are worthy, but nonetheless Chopin gets my nod. He reached the pinnacle of composition for the piano, and with his Mazurkas and Waltzes, incorporated the Polish character into his works along with raising other uniquely Romantic forms to new heights. Virtuosic, melodic, original -- this composer had it all. Never does the piano sound as magnificent as when his works are performed.
I voted for the Paderewski concerto because I do not know it !! And it is always interesting and enriching to hear new music. I sometimes feel that WQXR which I love plays too often the old "war horses"...
The Chopin and the Wienawski are lovely pieces, but I voted for the Paderewski because it is somethjing I am not familiar with and would like to hear.
I'm choosing the Paderewski because it's one I. at least, haven't heard very often.
I agree with Boh -- I could not find the "Showdown" to vote.
I do not know the paderewski and decided to vote for that.
You sure don't make it easy to find where and how to vote.
I would prefer to hear new music on WQXR. Chopin gets plenty of attention. I voted for Weiniawski but would be happy with Paderewski as well.
Both Paderewski and Wieniawski are wonderful pieces. I love, LOVE them both. But, Chopin is truly the "poet of the piano". I must choose Chopin, when it is a choice. His concertos are beyond sublime.
While the Paderewski is rarely heard, I can never get too much Chopin. The two concerti are among his most sublime compositions. Hence, the second gets my vote
Hi,
You so rarely get to hear this Chopin Piano Concerto. I love Chopin and would love to hear it.
Kind Regards,
Winnie
My vote is for the Paderewski piano concerto.
The Paderewski was new to me and had lovely tunes, and gets my vote today.
make it the Chopin
