This is my fave piece of Ravel's...
I sense turmoil, strength, beauty, and tranquility all at once in this particular piece...
Beautiful...and yes, I am remided of "I Feel Pretty" from Bernstein's West Side Story.

When Terrance mentioned that this piece reminded him of Gershwin, surely he is thinking of "I feel pretty" from Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story?
