This edition of the program features Czech pianist Lukas Vondracek, who recently won first prize at the 2010 Hilton Head International Piano Competition in South Carolina. Now studying at the New England Conservatory in Boston, he joins us with performances of Schubert and Martinu. Also on tap are performances recorded in the WQXR studio featuring cellist Claire Bryant, the winner of the Bob Sherman Award for exceptional innovation and imagination in education and community outreach.
