This weekend, our Thanksgiving Gratitude Project continues with an hour of listener picks. Hear some of the choral works chosen by you and your fellow WQXR fans and why they continue to mean so much. We all say thanks for choral music with works by Faure, Vivaldi, Tallis and Handel.

Program Details:

Gabriel Faure     Requiem, Op. 48: Agnus Dei

George Frideric Handel   Messiah: Hallelujah!

Felix Mendelssohn         Elijah, Op. 70: He, watching over Israel, slumbers not, nor sleeps

Thomas Tallis    Spem in alium

Giuseppe Verdi  Nabucco: Va, pensiero (Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves)

Antonio Vivaldi   Gloria in D major, RV 589
