Formed in 1999 by four men and a woman, the a cappella group Calmus Ensemble Leipzig is known for the breadth of its repertoire extending from Gregorian chants to Machaut, Palestrina and Bach to Verdi and contemporary pop music. Last year, the ensemble released a well-received Christmas album. On this edition of the show, the group revives some of that material in a special studio performance.
