Violinist Hye-Jin Kim and pianist Amy J. Yang are on the rise: they debut at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall on March 8. Hear an exclusive sneak preview of their program on this week's episode.
The violin magazine The Strad described one of Kim’s performance as “…supremely musical playing, well-thought out, yet of the moment.” She is a 2009 winner of the Concert Artists Guild violin competition.
Harris Goldsmith of The New York Concert Review wrote of pianist Amy J. Yang: "a magnificent artist and poet: everything she touches turns to gold--a Midas touch for tone and music.” A multi-award winner in her own right, Yang career had taken her to concert halls all over the US and Europe.
