Hollywood's finest will be arriving on the red carpet en masse this Sunday for the 83rd annual Academy Awards. This year's contenders for Best Original Score run the gamut from extra-produced rock star content, like Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross's score for "The Social Network" and scores relying on classical music, like Alexandre Desplat's score for "The King's Speech."

In this week's Arts File, Liz White talks to USC film professor and film writer for Variety Jon Burlingame about the upsets and upshots of this year's scores.
