This week on the Young Artists Showcase, the Young People's Chorus of New York pays a visit to our studio. More than 1,300 children from ages seven to 18 participate annually through the YPC's core after-school program in New York City, with additional affiliates in Erie, Pennsylvania, and Tenafly, New Jersey. In this special recording, we listen in as twenty of them fill our studio with young voices. The chorus is conducted by Francisco J. Núñez.

Also in this episode, we check in with Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Del Tredici. Del Tredici's most recent album is All Sky: New American Choral Works, a perfect compliment to our guests from the Young People's Chorus

Program:

Sabbath’s Child – David Del Tredici, Four Heartfelt Anthems (1st movement)

Riki Tiki Tavi – Faraualla
