I enjoy WQXR over the FM radio up here in Poughkeepsie 75 miles north of NYC thanks to a repeater that now covers the Mid Hudson Valley. It is wonderful.

I live only a few doors from WQXR on the same block and receive nothing but static. Rarely, I listen on my computer, but for the most part I have simply stopped listening to the radio and switched to satellite radio, especially to the superior 24 hour Met Opera streams. I do have the dial set to WQXR in my car, but as I New Yorker, I use the car very little. Now if I could only get WQXR on my iPhone in the subway!

I have been a listener of WQXR for many years and am very disappointed that the station is almost impossible to get. The interference from nearby stations makes it difficult to hear the music on any radio I have in my home. Is there anything you can do to improve the quality of the reception of this station?
