WQXR puts your ears in Avery Fisher Hall for the New York Philharmonic production of Janáček's The Cunning Little Vixen. Janácek brings a comic strip to life in this touching tale of the cycle of life in a European forest. This new production conducted by Alan Gilbert and directed by Douglas Fitch features soprano Isabel Bayrakdarian in the role of the Vixen.

Watch Douglas Fitch demonstrate the whimsical costumes in a recent preview of the production from The Greene Space below.
