Les Delices, the Cleveland ensemble that focuses on music of the French Baroque, made its New York debut earlier this year at the Frick Collection. Their program, "In the Apartments of the King," includes music by Francois Couperin, Jean-Baptiste Lully, Marin Marais and Pierre Danican Philidor. Hear the group on this edition of Concerts from The Frick.

Founded in 2006, Les Delices has been featured on NPR's Harmonia and Sunday Baroque, and their debut CD was featured as part of the audio guide for a recent special exhibit at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art (on Watteau, Music and Theater).

Les Delices has to be one of the best groups specialized in Baroque chamber music based in The States, our series "Museum Concerts of Rhode Island" and "Music at Trinity" had the pleasure of hosting this superb ensemble in Providence and Newport on their way to this concert at The Frick. It is wonderful to hear such a good recording on WQXR! Thank you!
