Composer Georges Delerue wrote extraordinarily lovely music for many films. With a knack for lilting waltzes and touching love themes, Delerue is closely associated with the French "New Wave" cinema of the 1960s. He composed scores for Truffaut's "Jules and Jim," Godard's "Contempt," and many other films. Host David Garland presents a range of Delerue's mellifluous music.
