House Democrats passed President Barack Obama's health care legislation late last night by seven votes.

In today's Washington Report on WQXR, David Sanger, Chief Washington Correspondent for The New York Times, tells WNYC's Kerry Nolan how House Democrats pushed the vote through the house and the price lawmakers had to pay to pass the legislation.

Sanger also talks about what else is on President Obama's agenda, including Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit today to Washington.
