Dear Bill,
I am new to the classical music and I enjoy your show immensely. However, sometimes I am not able to listen to it while it's on the air and I was unsuccessfully trying to find it in iTunes podcast format so that I could listen to it at my leisure. Have you ever considered producing the program in that format as well? I think it will only increase your audience and will educate even more people.
I hope to see your podcasts soon.

Thank you and enjoy our beautiful spring!

Best wishes,

Dear Mr. McLaughlin,

I love your show. But right now - approximately 11:30 pm EDT, I am not hearing anything on WQXR! Dead silence, known to us who have experience in radio broadcasting as "dead air." There will soon be an apology by somebody, I hope.

In any case, even though there is no posting yet for the Mozart & Haydn string quartets, just wanted to let you know that it is wonderful! Brings back many memories of when I was at Princeton University and in the class of Earl Kim (may he RIP) and we discussed the very beautiful slow movement of the "Hunt" Quartet. The 6 quartets dedicated to Haydn are among my favorite string quartets.

With so much beautiful music to inspire me by such masters as Haydn & Mozart, I would love to write a string quartet, but I have not done so, since I await a proper commission.

I think you are a composer, Bill, as well. Have you written any string quartets?
