Nikolaj Znaider plays Brahms

In this week's broadcast from the New York Philharmonic, Danish violinist Nikolaj Znaider joins Alan Gilbert in the ever-popular Brahms Violin Concerto.


Also on the program: Gilbert conducts the opulent Symphony No. 4 by Czech composer Bohuslav  Martinu. This peformance was recorded at the Vail Valley Music Festival in 2009.

Znaider is a superb fiddler--we should hear more of him--and less of zuckerman.
