Maximum Reich: Nadia Sirota Hosts

Two Hours of Hosted Reich Every Day at Midnight, 10am, and 6pm

Thursday, December 10, 2009

Q2 artist-in-residence, violist and black-belt new music champion, Nadia Sirota takes center stage on Maximum Reich with a 2-hour daily exploration of that day’s particular theme and featured music.

The seven daily features cover the breadth of his output, from the early days to his recent Pulitzer Prize-winning Double Sextet, from percussion to choral music, from solo tape to large ensemble. If you’re Dante, and you need a Virgil in the musical universe of Steve Reich, this is for you!

You can hear Nadia Sirota every day from Midnight-2am, 10am-noon, and 6pm-8pm. Each episode will be archived on this page after its airing for 24/7 on-demand streaming, so come back and listen and stay current with Maximum Reich on Q2.

Steve Reich at the Whitney, 1981, hosted by Steve Post ~ Cool.
