We at The McGraw-Hill Companies Young Artists Showcase believe that young people are uniquely capable of bringing music to life. Their perspective on music making is unmatched in its freshness, and, on today’s program, our performers are unmatched internationally for their age.

Beginning with the winners of the 2010 International Young Artists Piano Competition, we’ll hear several young players from both the Junior and Senior Divisions play Chinese contemporary works mixed in with standard repertoire. Then we’ll hear two winners of the 2011 Licia Albanese/Puccini Foundation Competition, here in studio, with pianist Martin Hennessy.
