In this week's Arts File, Kerry Nolan speaks with WNYC's Arts Critic Carolina Miranda about what shows and exhibitions to catch this weekend. There's a new show about re-imagining Long Island City, Queens, at the Isamu Noguchi museum in which artists have envisioned innovative and sometimes fanciful ways to remake the neighborhood. Miranda says the ongoing De Kooning retrospective at the MoMA should not be missed and an exhibition of photographs depicting the New York City subway in the 1980s is another must-see.
