Winner of the 2011 McGraw-Hill Robert Sherman Award for Music Education and Community Outreach, Tanya Gabrielian is the founder of “Art for Activism,” an initiative dedicated to promoting the artist as activist through art. She collaborated with the artist Fran Bull ("In Flanders Field: A Meditation on War"), and organized a recital series featuring composers with mental illnesses, to highlight the stigma around mental health issues. Here she presents works by Rachmaninoff, Schumann and others.

Alexei Shanchinsky - Mazurka 

Smetana - Trio in G Minor, first movement  (with violinist Katie Hymn and cellist Mihai Marica)
