This week, we hear some of the best music around--all inspired by the birth of Jesus.

Composers like William Dawson wrote spirituals that made groups like the Tuskegee Institute Choir and St. Olaf Choir into internationally acclaimed ensembles. We also hear music by Claudio Monteverdi who wrote a number of works dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and Arvo Part's Magnificat. These works and others are the focus of this show celebrating the story of Christmas.

Why is the audio of the last couple of episodes not available? I want to listen to them again and again. Thanks!

Heard a wonderful piano version of "Go Tell It On the Mountain" - missed the pianist. Could you tell me who played it? Thanks so much. It was around 11:45 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

I heard a piece at around 10:10pm tonight but missed the title and composer. Is there a rundown of the music played?
