Ford Takes Steve Jobs Approach in Luxury Car Design

This past week, the new Lincoln MKZ was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show. In an effort to revive its Lincoln brand, Ford has assigned a hip new car designer, Max Wolff, to reinvigorate the luxury sedan. Wolff’s first big effort, the MKZ, was unveiled at the auto show this past week, reports James B. Stewart, a business columnist for The New York Times. The question is, can design differentiate a luxury car brand, the way Apple has done with computers?
