The Young Artist Showcase has been going strong since 1978, but with more than 50 years of nurturing young talent, the Young Concert Artists has the YAS beat. Many of today’s stars got their start with YCA, including Emanuel Ax, who said, “It is because of Young Concert Artists that I am able to make music today."

This week the YAS previews the artists that will help Young Concert Artists celebrate its 51st anniversary at a gala concert on May 9 at Alice Tully Hall.

Three recent YCA alumni will make their concerto debuts: Narek Haknazaryan, Ran Dank and Hahn-Bin. At Alice Tully, these three young artists will perform with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s. Here, they are presented in live chamber music recordings.
