Every few weeks, the Young Artists Showcase builds up such a store of wonderful performances that we just can’t find time to put into our Wednesday night hour. This week, host Bob Sherman has gathered up some beautiful odds and ends that didn’t fit into previous shows.

We catch up with YAS piano alumni Tanya Bannister and Sara Daneshpour, get encores from saxophonist Ashu and cellist Narek Haknazaryan, and Brian Yeubin Lin adds a bonus from our Sydney Piano Competition studio session: the devilishly difficult Islamey Fantasy by Mily Balakirev.
