Tonight: Mostly Mozart with Nelson Freire and Lawrence Brownlee

WQXR presents a live broadcast of night two from the Mostly Mozart Festival at Avery Fisher Hall. Conductor Louis Langrée leads the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra in Mozart's Overture to La clemenza di Tito and "Prague" Symphony.

The Orchestra is joined by the American tenor Lawrence Brownlee for two highlights from Così fan tutte. And Brazilian pianist Nelson Freire, who made his Mostly Mozart debut last year, returns for Mozart’s D-minor Piano Concerto.

Jeff Spurgeon and Terrance McKnight host the broadcast, which starts at 8 pm.
